Poster to a funfair

Poster? NEAH! Where got funfair.

Hi...wanted to have a blogsite so long ago. Finally I have one! Well...what can I say...

There are so many memories, painful, wonderful, happy, sad memories. How much I can remember depends on their significance. ^_^ Today is a fine day. Finished work early...

Here I post a short fluff for my role-playing character: Derf Shaya.

Cosmic Era 72:
The red and black mobile suit landed with a sharp thud. In its torso, a hatch opens and a young pilot, dressed in crumpled technician clothing, started to descend to the ground via a string lift.

Derf Shaya peered around at his surroundings. The cold wind brushed gently across his face as he did so, his long, blond hair sweeping onto his face. At the end of his descent, Derf touched the ground with his trek shoes. It was hard, no longer covered with the lush greenery of the past. Step by step he throd the ground away from his mobile suit, the GAT-X370 Raider. His eyes were fixed at one direction.
The harsh, unfeeling landscape loomed before him. The landscape of a 10km crater, lack of life, was all that was in his vision. Once again, the wind blew at him, emphasizing on the lifelessness of the terrain.

JOSH-A, Alaska. Former Earth Alliance Headquarters. There was once a waterfall...concealing the battleship hangar. Everywhere was green and blue. Until that time came, when all life was reduced to bits of dust. Now a crater is all I can see, Derf thought bitterly. JOSH-A was destroyed by the Earth Alliance leaders themselves.

Derf felt his knees go weak and dropped to his knees. His technician trousers scratched the hard, dust-covered ground as tears trickled down his cheeks.
Burying his face in his palms, Derf cried.

********

"Wakey! Hello there...!"

Derf stirred from his sleep. As he opened his eyes, it was revealed to him that he was still inside the cockpit of Raider. After what seemed to be long journey from JOSH-A to this unknown spaceport on Earth, Derf was overcome by fatigue and soon fell asleep in his command couch. Morning came.

He blinked. The entrance to the cockpit was wide open as he left it the night before. The spaceport worker who woke him up was standing right in front of him. Quickly, Derf stood to his feet and jumped out of his mobile suit.

"Your suit has been refuelled, sir." The worker said and a smile came to his lips. Derf replied with a weak smile of his, then proceeded to lock the hatch.

"Oh," he added as if he suddenly remembered something. "I forgot. Good morning to you!" Derf greeted good-naturedly.

"Good morning!" The worker replied. Then, with another smile, he walked away and proceeded to do his rounds.

Derf stretched his arms and yawned lazily.

Ok...long introduction, but it briefly summarizes my secondary school years. Have fun, see ya~

...A dark alley...

Upon turning into this alley from the busy streets, you realize that this area is totally void of light from the streetlamps and noise from the roads. You see a man in crumpled clothing. He wears a torn straw hat.

make some sense

Layout designer's notes...

best viewed in 1024 X 768 resolution. a brief history about the author pertaining to the theme of shadow of transcendence. it came about in the wee hours of the early morning while being whisked away into memories of the past etched deep within the mind. bittersweetness that tingled the tastebuds of her emotions and feelings, the only way out for true liberation from this reality is what is behind the shadow of transcendence; suicide. the taste of iron-rust blood coiled with the lingering bittersweetness is the only contemplation of which the simplicity of life has to offer in exchange for the shadow of transcendence. made in the heavens through one creator, an angel borne to serve man; fell from where it belonged to earth where its purity shadowed by boredom and nohing better to do.
