Touhou Project: "Open Source Storytelling" at its best

Just finished listening to drama tracks of a ficticious manzai tournament held in Gensokyo. Well, two tournaments. I feel like translating them... Touhou M-1 Grand Prix by Yellow Zebra. (Kudos to them!)

... As usual, thanks to my limited vocabulary and laziness, I have again run out of words to describe how entranced I am with the whole Touhou phenomenon. Also, I have fallen in love with Beatmario. And Sekken-ya!

Fuuu~ all I do these days are blowing random tunes on my broken recorder... thinking of ZUN's melodies... thinking of WeeSiong. His leaving for Shanghai left me with no one to talk to, except Angie (probably still mad at me, or not), my cousin (who is busying himself to death and wondering why he is letting himself get busy), my parents (they don't understand when I start talking about Touhou) and my colleagues (well, the usual chatter at work.)

Ahhh... what really changed my life in these months was the book GEB, written by Douglas R. Hofstadter. Sometimes I dream of random dreams involving both Touhou and GEB. In one, Remilia and Patchouli were engaged in an intellectual debate with Archilles and the Crab. Too bad I can't remember that dream. Sorry to both ZUN and Prof. Hofstadter as my brain's symbols seem to have attained free will. Which is happy thing, for me!

Or has it always been like that? In that case it is a good discovery.

Ah... can't stop listening to Cool&Create's "Shiawase Usagi" and "Thank you Kansha"! Beatmario amd Amane are the best!!! The lyrics in "Thank you Kansha" made me want to start blogging about Touhou, beginning with this post.

Argh, getting obsessed again. But it always feels good.
