No shit, Ber.

I read my brother's newest blog post today. It was posted last year, a sardonic guide to being the typical Singaporean. Even though it wasn't very politically correct, I absolutely loved my brother for posted that. He can be such a non-conformist sometimes =D

Now, the thing is... someone commented for a total of two chunks of text. Apparently, my brother hit the bull's eye. I commented back at him, head full of hot gas. Here it goes:

*Someone's Name*, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Additional knowledges r not harmful, is just tt one has 2 be clear enough to noe in applying tt. Little knowledge is harmful,Additional knowledge too. unless u r sure tt u will not get confuse go ahead, no1 can stop u, is yr choice.

You said "Additional knowledges r not harmful". And yet, you contradicted yourself on the sentence that immediately followed.

Moreover, we r studying in different level ie, PSLE, O lvl, A lvl. The extra information at one level will b taught in another. wad's the hurry? Sometimes we hab 2 be realistic, to noe what is tested n jus get tt right. Even u noe e extra information but u dunno the information of yr lvl. Wad's e point. U cannot advance to the next lvl. Y absorb the extra at wrong time when u can get it when time come?

It does not matter whether one is in a hurry. It is the simple lack of interest in pursuing a more complete perception of the universe. That is the thing that plainly PISSES me off. Realistic? Or realism? It's merely your take on those terms. You're just afraid of the system that you are OH, SO FAMILIAR WITH collapse into oblivion. Then, you'll really gain nothing from it.

Can't blame the Singaporeans, me like any other Singaporeans are in a rigid system. Everything is determined by yr grades (Sec sch, JC, Uni n even jobs). We r not the rule makers thus hab to bear with it. As we noe, Singapore is a minute spot wif onli human resource, hence it have to be carefully developed. Without e system, how many graduates do u tink will there b? Wif reference to other countries like USA, dey hab rich mineral deposits. Hence, thier human resource will not b as developed as Singapore's. Frankly speaking, dey do hab a high rate of dropouts. If we follow thier way, Singapore could never survive for tt long. *Yada yada yada*... (lots of propaganda talk)

"Bear with it... bear with it". Actually, people are bearing with likes of you. System, system, system.

Under normal condition, we will not step out of our comfort zone. One will do tt if there is a reward or being forced to. Those adventuerers, will get fame, honour n incentives aft they found smth. This is the force tt drives them to thier goal.

And please. Stepping out of the comfort zone for mere rewards? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING, MAN?! Look at Columbus. Marco Polo. And the early pioneers of large nation-states. Do you think they are really thinking about incentives? You're really demeaning the greatness of exploreres and adventurers.

In the process of trying to win, ppl uses strategy, hence they think, upgrading thier brains. We want the best stuff, it do apply for other ppl like bosses wan the most effective employee. Without a compeition how do u differentiate the best n the average? In this society, we hab 2 tink abt ourselves 1st (Chi Proverb: Ren Bu Wei Ji, Tian Zhu Di Mie) The basic rule of animal kingdom is still valid, Survival of the fittest. As such, we hab 2 face e reality, n stop procrastinating.

Survivial of the fittest. Pfft. Humans are thinking creatures. That's what sets us apart from the other animals. You wanna be a robot? Go ahead, no one is stopping you.

He is not procrastinating. He will never be. You are the one who's procrastinating.

It is too generalised to sae muggers do not hav anything up there? There is always exception

As for the mugger sentence, learn this, buddy. It is called a singular they. He is talking about an instance of a mugger, not all muggers.

ARR.

Did I do anything wrong today? -runs away-

...A dark alley...

Upon turning into this alley from the busy streets, you realize that this area is totally void of light from the streetlamps and noise from the roads. You see a man in crumpled clothing. He wears a torn straw hat.

make some sense

Layout designer's notes...

best viewed in 1024 X 768 resolution. a brief history about the author pertaining to the theme of shadow of transcendence. it came about in the wee hours of the early morning while being whisked away into memories of the past etched deep within the mind. bittersweetness that tingled the tastebuds of her emotions and feelings, the only way out for true liberation from this reality is what is behind the shadow of transcendence; suicide. the taste of iron-rust blood coiled with the lingering bittersweetness is the only contemplation of which the simplicity of life has to offer in exchange for the shadow of transcendence. made in the heavens through one creator, an angel borne to serve man; fell from where it belonged to earth where its purity shadowed by boredom and nohing better to do.
